What does retatrutide testing measure?
Identity, HPLC purity and, when ordered, content in mg, on the one vial the laboratory receives. Identity confirms the named peptide is present. Purity reports how much of the peptide signal is the intended compound. Content reports how many milligrams are in the vial. None of these is a measure of biological effect.
What should a retatrutide certificate report?
The identity method, purity with the detection wavelength stated, and content in mg per vial if the label states a strength. Endotoxin, heavy metals, bioburden and sterility are separate assays and appear only if they were ordered. Mass confirmation adds a second, independent line of identity evidence. Does a vendor COA count as independent testing?
Only if an independent laboratory issued it, only for the sample that laboratory received, and preferably only if you can verify it on that laboratory's own system. A PDF that cannot be verified is weak evidence. In-house versus third-party testing.
